On arrival in Istanbul, meet our group rep in Atatürk airport and transfer to our hotel.
Remainder of the day at leisure, explore Istanbul or take an optional bosphorus boat tour: View the Golden Horn and see Rumeli Fortress

Sunday, May 23
Today after breakfast enjoy a full day tour of Istanbul.
Dive into the heart of Istanbul City, including visits to St. Sophia, the great Byzantine basilica built in the 6th century, and the world-famous Blue Mosque.
Continue to the Roman Hippodrome, the ancient site of chariot races and competitive athletic events, before a final stop to visit the renowned Grand Bazaar, the world's largest covered market, featuring over 58 streets and more than 4000 shops.
This afternoon visit to the Topkapi Palace, the former residence of the Ottoman Sultans. Visit the Treasury Rooms which house 700 years worth of priceless Endurun Treasure, making for the largest national trove in the world.
Continue to visit the famous Mosque of Süleyman the Magnificent, built in the 16th century, and regarded today as one of the greatest buildings in the world.
Upon return to your hotel, enjoy a relaxing drive along the Golden Horn and view the ancient Roman fortification walls en route.

CAPPADOCIA
Cappadocia is the region where the nature and history come together with some of the most beautiful scenery in the world. This is an area best known for its unique moon-like landscapes as at Göreme, underground cities such as Kaymakli, cave churches, the monasteries at Zelve, of homes carved into the rocks.
Monday, May 24
After breakfast, transfer to airport and catch our flight to Kayseri/ Nevşehir**1
After Hotel check-in and lunch; ½ DAY Tour: Devrent Valley, followed by a visit to the Zelve Open Air Museum; Monk’s Valley; Göreme Open Air Museum featuring the most impressive of all rock-carved churches in Cappadocia.

Tuesday, May 25
After breakfast, Full Day Tour: The day starts at Red Valley for a hike through orchards and vineyards between fairy chimneys and rock-carved houses. Continue the walk in rose Valley. Afterwards, visit the old Christian village of Çavuşin. Following a lunch break, visit Pigeon Valley; Kaymaklı Underground City, Ortahisar Castle and Mustafapaşa Village.

The many other sites around Ephesus cannot be forgotten, so we satisfy those with specialist interests and extend our tour to include all.

Sunday, May 30
After breakfast, optional half day tour of Bodrum: The resort town sits on the foundations of ancient, mighty Halikarnassos. In a morning discover the historical highlights of the town. Bodrum's Castle of St. Peter is a must-see in Bodrum, and many visitors are surprised to find it houses such a special Museum of Underwater Archaeology in the heart of a small town. As you walk around the castle, there are also wonderful opportunities to take pictures of Bodrum and the bays. Just a 15 minute walk from the castle along the harbour, are the ruins of the once magnificent Mausoleum, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. The ancient walls, and the Myndos Gate, and the Ancient Theater complete the picture of ancient life.
